Growing Time: Bhut Jolokia is a moderate growing plant. Seeds may take 2-3 weeks to germinate under optimal conditions. Plants will begin producing chiles in approximately 100-120 days. Bhut Jolokia chiles reach their deep red color when fully ripe, at which point their heat is at its peak, reaching between 800,000 and 1,041,427 units on the Scoville scale.
Special Features: Bhut Jolokia chiles are long, thin, and 5-8 cm long. They have a slightly wrinkled surface and a color that varies from green to deep red as they mature.
