  9. Echeveria runyonii 'Topsy Turvy' : With leaves that appear to be twisted, forming a very distinctive rosette.
  10. Echeveria secunda : It has thick, rounded leaves, blue-green in color with pink edges.

Growing Duration: Echeverias are slow to moderately growing plants, starting from seed in about 2 to 4 weeks under optimal conditions. Depending on the variety, plants may take several months to reach a significant size, but once established, they are extremely long-lived and require little maintenance.

Special Features: The Echeveria Mix includes a variety of shapes, sizes, and colors, from soft greens to shades of pink, blue, and purple. The fleshy leaves form rosettes that may be compact or spreading, with some varieties developing reddish tips or margins in bright sunlight. These succulents are perfect for decorating bright interiors, outdoor gardens, or as part of potted arrangements and terrariums.

Lighting: They prefer full sun or partial shade. Echeverias develop their most intense colors and compact shapes when they receive at least 4 to 6 hours of direct sunlight per day.

Watering: Like all succulents, Echeverias require moderate watering. It is crucial to allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings to prevent root rot. During the winter, reduce watering to a minimum.

Pests: Echeverias are generally resistant to pests, although they can occasionally be affected by scale insects or aphids. The use of environmentally friendly products, such as potassium soap, is recommended to keep pests under control.

Cold hardiness: Echeverias are sensitive to extreme cold and do not tolerate frost well. They are best grown indoors or in a greenhouse in areas where temperatures fall below 5°C.

Substrate: A well-drained substrate is recommended, ideally a cactus mix containing coarse sand or perlite. Good drainage is essential to prevent waterlogging and root rot.

Harvest: Echeverias are grown primarily for their ornamental value. Enjoy their unique rosettes and colors in the garden or in decorative pots, where their beauty and variety can be appreciated all year round.

Shipping: All shipments are made through Bluespress. Check out our growing manuals on our website: www.arcademendel.com .
