Flowering: Neochilena Mix cacti begin to flower at around 3 years of age. After flowering, new plants emerge from the outer leaves.

Pests: They are susceptible to scale insects, thrips, red spiders and scales. It is recommended to use environmentally friendly products such as potassium soap and Neem oil.
Cold resistance: Good, although in the far south they may be at risk of frost.
