Quantity for the Value: 30 Seeds

Packaging: We work with the best German, Spanish, Dutch and Chilean seed suppliers, which allows us to offer you Catnip seeds collected and packaged in 2024, guaranteeing their freshness and a high percentage of germination.

Growing time: Catnip is a perennial plant that can grow and flower for several years. The first leaves can be harvested approximately 70 to 80 days after sowing.

Flowering: Catnip produces small white or lilac flowers, usually in summer, which attract pollinators such as bees. The plant is known for its grey-green foliage and pleasant aroma.

Lighting: Prefers full sun, although it can also grow in partial shade. For vigorous growth and high production of essential oils, make sure it receives at least 4 to 6 hours of sunlight daily.

Watering: Catnip is quite hardy and prefers moderate watering. Allow the soil to dry out between waterings to avoid excess moisture, which could cause root rot.

Pests: Catnip is generally resistant to pests, but can be affected by aphids and mites if conditions are not ideal. The use of environmentally friendly products, such as potassium soap and neem oil, is recommended for pest control.

Cold Hardiness: It is cold hardy and can survive light frosts, although in extremely cold climates the plant may die back to the ground during the winter and resprout in spring.

Substrate: A well-drained, slightly sandy substrate with a neutral to slightly acidic pH is recommended. A nutrient-poor soil is suitable for Catnip, as it does not require frequent fertilization.

Shipping: All shipments are made through Bluespress. Check out our growing manuals on our website: www.arcademendel.com .
