Quantity for the Value: 25 Seeds

Packaging: We work with the best German, Spanish, Dutch and Chilean seed suppliers, which allows us to offer you Dimorfoteca seeds collected and packaged in 2024, guaranteeing their freshness and a high percentage of germination.

Growing time: Dimorfoteca is a perennial in warm climates and an annual in cooler climates. It flowers from spring to fall, with peak flowering in the warmer months. Plants begin flowering approximately 8 to 10 weeks after sowing.

Special Features: Dimorphotheca is known for its daisy-like flowers, with petals that can be solid or bi-colored, and dark, contrasting centers. These flowers are not only beautiful, but also very long-lasting, making them a popular choice for gardens and floral arrangements. Additionally, Dimorphotheca is drought-resistant and can tolerate poor soil conditions, making it easy to grow.

Lighting: Prefers full sun for optimal growth and abundant flowering, although it can also tolerate partial shade. Make sure the plants receive at least 6 hours of direct sunlight per day.

Watering: Dimorfoteca is fairly drought tolerant, but prefers regular watering during dry periods to maintain continuous flowering. Keep the soil well drained and avoid overwatering to prevent fungal diseases.

Pests: Dimorfoteca is generally resistant to pests, although it can be occasionally affected by aphids and mites. The use of environmentally friendly products, such as potassium soap and Neem oil, is recommended to keep pests under control.

Cold resistance: Dimorfoteca can tolerate light frosts, but in cold climates it behaves like an annual plant. In these cases, it is recommended to sow it after the risk of frost has passed.

Substrate: A well-drained and slightly fertile substrate is recommended. Dimorfoteca adapts well to poor soils, but a soil enriched with compost will promote more vigorous growth and more abundant flowering.

Harvest: Dimorfoteca flowers are ideal for cutting and using in floral arrangements. To prolong flowering in the garden, cut off spent flowers regularly.

Shipping: All shipments are made through Bluespress. Check out our growing manuals on our website: www.arcademendel.com .
