Packaging: We work with the best German, Spanish, Dutch and Chilean seed suppliers, which allows us to offer you Ilusión seeds collected and packaged in 2024, guaranteeing their freshness and a high percentage of germination.
Growing Duration: Illusion is an annual plant that flowers from late spring through summer. Plants begin flowering approximately 6 to 8 weeks after sowing.
Special Features: Illusion produces tiny, delicate flowers that are grouped in clusters, creating an airy, light appearance. These flowers are essential in bouquets, especially at weddings, where they add a romantic, ethereal touch. Additionally, Illusion is easy to grow and adapts well to a variety of soil conditions.
Lighting: Prefers full sun for optimal growth and abundant flowering. Make sure plants receive at least 6 hours of direct sunlight per day.
Watering: Keep the soil evenly moist, but well-drained. Illusion is fairly drought tolerant once established, but regular watering during dry periods will help maintain continued flowering.
Pests: Illusion is generally resistant to pests, although it can occasionally be affected by aphids and spider mites. The use of environmentally friendly products, such as potassium soap and Neem oil, is recommended to keep pests under control.
Cold resistance: Illusion is sensitive to cold and does not tolerate frost well. It is recommended to sow it after the risk of frost has passed in spring.
Substrate: A well-drained, slightly alkaline substrate is recommended. Illusion prefers light, sandy soils, but can adapt to richer soils if good drainage is ensured.
Harvest: Illusion flowers are ideal for cutting and using in floral arrangements fresh or dried. For dried flowers, cut the inflorescences when they are in full bloom and hang them upside down in a dark, well-ventilated place.
