Crop duration: Kale is a biennial plant that can be harvested in its first year of cultivation. The tender leaves can be harvested 55 to 75 days after sowing.
Growing Conditions: Kale prefers cool climates and grows best at temperatures between 15°C and 20°C. It is cold hardy and can survive light frosts, which improves its flavor.
Lighting: Kale needs at least 6 hours of direct sunlight daily for optimal growth.
Watering: Keep the soil consistently moist, but avoid waterlogging. Regular watering is important to prevent the leaves from becoming tough and bitter.
