This plant is ideal for those who want to decorate walls, pergolas, railings or hanging baskets with an explosion of color.

Quantity for the Value: 25 Seeds

Packaging: We work with the best German, Spanish, Dutch and Chilean seed suppliers, which allows us to offer you Ojos del Poeta seeds collected and packaged in 2024, guaranteeing their freshness and a high percentage of germination.

Growing Duration: Poet's Eyes are profuse bloomers from spring to fall, producing flowers approximately 8 to 10 weeks after sowing. In warm climates, they can behave as perennials, flowering all year round.

Special Features: Poet's Eye is known for its brightly colored flowers, including yellow, orange, white and cream, all with a distinctive black center. The plants are vigorous climbers that can reach up to 2-3 meters in height, ideal for covering vertical structures in the garden. They are also excellent for growing in hanging baskets, where their stems can droop gracefully.

Lighting: They prefer full sun for optimal growth and abundant flowering, although they can also tolerate partial shade, especially in warmer climates. Make sure the plants receive at least 4 to 6 hours of direct sunlight per day.

Watering: Keep the soil evenly moist, but well-drained. Poet's Eyes need regular watering to maintain continued flowering, but are tolerant of short periods of drought once established.

Pests: Poet's Eyes are generally resistant to pests, although they can occasionally be affected by aphids and spider mites. The use of environmentally friendly products, such as potassium soap and Neem oil, is recommended to keep pests under control.

Cold hardiness: Although they are sensitive to cold and do not tolerate frost, in warm climates they can behave as perennials. In colder climates, they are grown as annuals, and it is advisable to sow them after the risk of frost has passed.

Substrate: A well-drained and fertile substrate is recommended. A soil enriched with compost will help the Poet's Eyes grow vigorously and produce abundant flowers.

Harvest: Poet's Eye flowers are ideal for adding a vibrant touch to gardens and floral arrangements. To prolong flowering, cut off spent flowers regularly.

Shipping: All shipments are made through Bluespress. Check out our growing manuals on our website: www.arcademendel.com .
