Growing Duration: Pachypodium lamerei is a moderately fast growing plant under favourable conditions. Seeds usually germinate within 2 to 4 weeks. As it grows, the plant develops a thick, thorny trunk that can reach several metres in height over time, topped by a set of long, narrow leaves reminiscent of palm trees.
